Anybody can complicate it. It takes a special effort to come up with a simple solution.

This is important because one of the main responsibilities Leaders have is to keep things moving forward at all times. It’s inevitable that problems will occur and if the Leader can’t come up with solutions fast, the team grinds to a halt.

The difference between a complicated and simple solution is often the difference between winning and losing.

  • If its complicated it takes more skill to do it – requires a gifted person
  • If its complicated it takes more time to do it – ruins your efficiency
  • If its complicated it takes more training to do it – bogs down your speed of implementation

When you are looking for Leaders, look for the one that can come up with the simple solution.
