There’s a central subconscious dream most people have. That dream is, the ability to take control of their own lives. They’re looking forward to a day where they won’t have to work. They’re looking forward to the “Golden Years.” Until they get older and reality sets in, it never dawns on most people that there’s any question about it. They’re going to be rewarded for all their years of hard work, and they’re going to have a period in life that is all about them. They don’t have to be rich, they don’t have to have all the extras, but they do have to be free. They expect to have enough money to enjoy the simple pleasures of life, and do some fun things that they never had time for. It’s interesting that this idea rarely discussed, never taught, but still widely held by all. What exactly is this idea? It’s the Theory of the American Dream.
